They met in college. Over nine years ago in a dorm room. Five years later, they decided to study abroad together in London. When they weren’t studying for their classes, they adventured throughout Europe. As a child, Peter had become a professional jump roper, and had traveled quite a bit for his sport. Amanda on the other hand longed to see more of the world. Like a true Prince Charming, Peter got down on one knee in Paris to ask her to marry him.
While a piece of their hearts remain in Paris, the industrial walls of the city welcomed them with open arms. They wed in Los Angeles at the 440 Seaton Loft. It was the perfect location for their Los Angeles wedding and contained hundreds of years of history.
Peter and Amanda…your devotion to each other and your love for travel will bring many more adventures to your life. Thank you for inviting me to document your first day as husband and wife. Much love and appreciation…Michaela.
The wedding day preparation began in Downtown Los Angeles at 440 Seaton…
Amanda donned a custom designed dress and pretty ballet flats…
The lighting was absolutely perfect…
Her sister and maid of honor helped her into her dress…
…and we couldn’t get over how gorgeous Amanda looked…
Meanwhile, down stairs, Peter got ready with the rest of his mates…
He looked rather dashing if I do say so myself…
His English mates agreed and had a laugh together as they waiting for the ceremony to begin…
440 Seaton is such a cool wedding venue, and could be transformed into anything your imagination can dream of…
Amanda stood nervously awaiting in the vintage elevator to be walked down the aisle by her father…he squeezed her hand in assurance…
Peter and Amanda shared their personal vows with each other…
Peter slipped the wedding band onto Amanda’s delicate finger…promising always to remain true…
Husband + Wife at last…
After the ceremony, Peter and Amanda made their way to the rooftop for sunset portraits while their guests found their seats…
They stood proudly together as newlyweds on the rooftop of 440 Seaton…
We love when couples are snuggly with each other and can take a moment to enjoy their new married status…
The Downtown La view was stunning…made even more so by the gorgeous couple…
We returned inside to take a few more portraits around the venue…
They shared a private dance in the vintage elevator as it took them to their guests…
..and continued dancing in front of their friends and family…
Many thanks to the creative team that made this wedding so special…
