For this beautiful destination La Casa Toscana wedding editorial in Fort Myers, Florida we collaborated with Alicia C. Creative to create a one-of-a-kind look. We were inspired by the endless Florida sunshine and lush tropical foliage. Situated on 10 acres, the venue was the perfect location to make our vision come to life. With butterflies as the focus, the color scheme naturally involved into an elegant combination of blues, blacks, and greys. It is said that when two people fall in love and find their soulmate, a butterfly is born somewhere in the world. In many cultures, butterflies symbolize the passing of time. They represent change, endurance, and life.
We’re so honored to team up with some of the best in the wedding business to host this La Casa Toscana wedding editorial for our workshop attendees. We’re so excited to announce that this Florida wedding editorial has finally been published on Glamour and Grace, which means we can share it with you! Alicia and team, thank you SO much for sharing your incredible skill and talent with us. We love you guys!!!
At Last Florals transformed the ceremony and reception spaces with her lush floral displays adding soft and romantic touches to the gazebo and tablescape design. We incorporated hydrangeas, white roses, sweet peas, and lots of greenery. We wanted to keep the floral design simple, to not overwhelm the eye. The way she wrapped the posts with vines, made it look as if it were meant o be there.
The La Casa Toscana wedding venue has so many beautiful areas to photograph the bride and groom. Bougainvilleas crawl up the side of the venue adding beautiful pops of red.
Any good wedding editorial needs to have a strong invitation suite, and Hello Snowflake delivered the perfect design. Deep, rich blues, wax stamps and handmade paper added the elegance this shoot deserved.
Our favorite piece was the handmade vows. Imagine standing at the altar holding one of these heirloom pieces reading your vows to the love of your life.
We can’t say it enough, but we love love love Bella Belle Shoes. They’re elegant, beautiful and classic – not to mention, comfy!
Since the theme of our editorial was butterflies, we had to get a shot of one on our model.
The tablescape was meant to embody a garden party in the spring, and it did exactly that. A warm, breezy sun filled day.
Hllovely designed a clear acrylic escort card for each place setting. Inside each acrylic card was a hand printed rice paper butterfly. The escort cards can be customized to include a guests name on it.
Most traditional weddings will simply have a dj for entertainment, but we wanted to try something a little more classy. Alexandria Renee is an amazing harpist located in Southwest Florida, we highly recommend her!
A huge thank you to the talented vendors that came together to make this shoot possible…
