This editorial was designed to prove one thing:
You don’t have to fly to Italy to have the most romantic, lemon-laced wedding of your dreams.
We brought the energy of an Amalfi Coast garden party to the vineyards of Wadley Farms — and it turned out better than we imagined.
Stationery That Set the Scene
We started with a custom invitation suite by Bushel And A Peck Designs.
The standout element was a hand-illustrated map of Wadley Farms printed on soft, textured paper.
This is your sign to add a venue map to your invitation suite. It feels both elevated and thoughtful.
Why Wadley Farms Is the Ultimate Italy Inspired Venue
Located in Lindon, Utah, Wadley Farms is a total hidden gem.
With 23 acres of stone buildings, castle turrets, blooming orchards, and actual grapevines, it feels like Tuscany with better parking.
Whether you’re hosting 30 guests or 300, this venue has indoor-outdoor flexibility, seasonal beauty, and a Euro-countryside feel without the jet lag.
Spring and early summer are especially perfect for vineyard blooms and golden light.
The Italian Garden Wedding Vibe
Our inspiration was Italy.
Specifically, lemons, hand-painted tiles, warm light, and that relaxed-but-styled feeling you get at a long dinner table surrounded by your favorite people.
We built our color palette around Amalfi Coast blues, crisp whites, and of course — buttery yellows.
The overall vibe was fresh, light, and nostalgic. Think Monty Don’s Italian Gardens meets Vogue Weddings.
Tablescape Details to Steal for Your Own Wedding
The tablescape design focused on layering textures and colors that feel European and intimate.
Whitewashed farm tables with no linens
Blue and white vintage-style china
Gold flatware
Mixed taper candles in glass and amber holders
Hand-painted lemon cookies at each place setting
The lemon meringue cake by Frosted Custom Cakes was topped with sugared butterflies and looked like something you’d find at a garden wedding in Capri.
Butterflies are an emerging trend for 2025 weddings — feminine, symbolic, and unexpected.
Garden Florals That Feel Like Italy
Designed by Azalea Flower Co., the florals were lush but effortless, like we snipped them straight from a hillside garden in Southern Italy.
Lemon branches, blush and yellow roses, ranunculus, and wild greenery filled the arrangements with texture and lightness.
They were layered into urns, draped off the table, and lined the ceremony space without ever feeling too styled.
Planning Tips for Hosting an Italian Wedding at Wadley Farms
Use the venue’s natural beauty to your advantage. Don’t try to cover it up with decor. Work with the stone textures, garden elements, and surrounding views.
Choose a color palette that pulls from Italy — Amalfi blue, lemon yellow, olive green, terracotta, and soft white always look timeless.
Don’t over-style. Focus on layering candles, florals, citrus, and mixed textures for an effortless feel that still photographs beautifully.
Incorporate lemons into everything. Use them as escort cards, table accents, cake decor, or in your stationery design. Citrus is the perfect symbol of abundance and hospitality.
Recreate the feeling of a slow Italian meal. Long tables, candlelight, and a relaxed dinner pacing make it feel like an actual experience, not just an event.
The Fashion: Classic Italian Elegance
The bride wore a romantic gown from Bitsy Bridal with soft movement and a long veil.
Hair by Chelsea Lindon and makeup by Christine Hoang created that signature glow with undone waves and rosy cheeks.
It was soft, modern, and natural — exactly what you’d expect from an Italian bride marrying at sunset.
Photography Notes from a Wadley Farms Wedding Photographer
As a photographer, I love shooting at Wadley Farms because the venue is already full of natural backdrops that need little to no styling.
Stone walls and arches for editorial portraits
Blooming gardens and orchard paths for detail shots
A turreted castle and vineyard views for timeless golden hour images
Whether you want high-fashion editorial or emotional storytelling, this venue offers both.
The key is planning your timeline around golden hour light. That’s when the magic happens.
Final Thoughts
Wadley Farms is one of the rare wedding venues that truly transports you.
With the right design and intention, it can feel like you’ve brought Italy to Utah.
This editorial was all about showing you what’s possible when you mix romantic styling with a beautiful setting and a clear vision.
You don’t need to book a villa on the Amalfi Coast to host a wedding that feels like it belongs there.
You just need a strong creative team and a venue like this.
