Balboa Inn Newport Beach, California Wedding Elopement : Taylor + Ryan

October 16, 2018

Filed in: Weddings

Taylor and Ryan first met through mutual friends at a coffee shop in Arizona. It wasn’t until almost a year later that they went on their first official date. From that day forward, they became attached at the hip.

Growing up, Taylor’s family spent their annual vacation relaxing by the beach in Newport Beach, California. So naturally, she dreamed of getting married in the gazebo at the park by the pier. On a beautiful clear Sunday afternoon, they did just that! Despite the crowds watching in the background, Taylor and Ryan only shared eyes with each other. Her father shared heartfelt words as he officiated their ceremony. Tears were a plenty from their closest family and friends.

Taylor and Ryan, thank you for being so relaxed and easy going. We really enjoyed walking around the Balboa Fun Zone and surrounding areas with you. We hope we were able to make your love truly shine to show the world what a beautiful couple you both are inside and out. Much love and appreciation…Josh and Michaela.

The wedding day began at the Balboa Inn, in Newport Beach, Ca. Taylor, her Mom and her best friend all got ready in their hotel room.

Taylor, you are seriously one of the most elegant brides we’ve seen…

SO gorgeous!!!

Her Mom helped her put on the final touches before her first look with her Dad.

Meanwhile, Ryan was with his Dad getting ready across the street at a condo…we loved his style!

As his dad fixed his tie, he said, “You’re lookin’ great man..” and they both started cracking up…

Back at the Balboa Inn, Taylor decided to have a Daddy Daughter first look…and we are literally obsessed with the reaction her Dad gave her!

They hugged, and sniffled tears away…while her dad told her how beautiful she looked.

He just loved her dress and everything!

After a few moments together, Taylor went back into her hotel room to hide before Ryan came for their first look…

Our favorite part…

So much joy!

Taylor, you and Ryan are literally perfect for each other…

Across the street from the Balboa Inn was the Fun Zone that includes a cute little ferris wheel…we of course had to grab a few photos of them on it…

We were afraid the wedding dress would get caught, so we all played pretend!

Then Ryan grabbed her hand and guided her to the next portrait location…

We found this random tropical area near the beach area…it was the perfect place for them to steal a few kisses.

Their faces when they realized it was time to actually get married now…

We wrapped up taking portraits and let them have a few minutes to themselves before the ceremony. As the sun was setting, Taylor’s brother walked her down the aisle towards the man of her dreams…

Taylor and Ryan got married at the Balboa Gazebo where Taylor had always dreamed of saying I Do.

Taylor and Ryan’s hands were bound together to symbolize the eternity they will spend together…

After they exchanged vows, Ryan gently placed the wedding band on Taylor’s finger…

…and they officially became husband and wife!

With just moments before the sun disappeared, their family and friends lit sparklers to create their exit!

…and we snuck in just one more portrait…

Afterwards, everyone headed back to their condo to have an intimate dinner catered by the Spaghetti Factory.

Thank you again to all the wonderful people who helped this intimate elopement go off without a hitch!
