Downtown Seal Beach Engagement : Cassie + Michael

April 22, 2017

Filed in: Engagements

They officially met through mutual friends at their Huntington Beach high school. But even before that, Cassie knew of Michael. His friend lived in her neighborhood and borrowed her camera. When she got the camera back, and scrolled through the photos, there was a cute guy in one of them. One day, Cassie attempted to introduce herself and failed because he didn’t hear her. She ended up awkwardly walking out of the room.

But somehow, fate brought them together. After they had been dating for a while without actually having the title, someone asked them “how long have you two been dating?” Having never discussed this, they decided to make their relationship. Right after high school, they moved to opposite ends of the country. Though they tried to maintain a long distance relationship, Michael ultimately decided to move to Cassie’s location in the bay area. They’ve been there together ever since!

Cassie and Michael, we had so much much fun with you two! Your smiles are so bright and contagious, even we couldn’t stop grinning. Each frame got us more and more excited for your wedding in August at the Environmental Nature Center.

The session began at their favorite restaurant in Seal Beach – the Beachwood BBQ. They spent many date nights getting beer here…

We felt so privileged that they flew down all the way from San Francisco to hang out with us for the day…

Afterwards, we all headed to the ice cream parlor a few doors down at Paradis Ice Cream

and all of the flavors smelled amazing…

We enjoyed walking around downtown Seal Beach exploring all of their favorite date night spots…

He got banana flavored ice cream and she got peanut butter chocolate swirl. The perfect choices!

They laughed the entire session and had no problem being silly and doing some random dancing!

With Michael always leading the way…

As the sun began to set, we walked towards the beach to catch the last of its’ rays

The wind whipped through their hair, as the waves crashed behind them…

Thank you for inviting us into your love story, and sharing a piece of your hearts with us. Happy Weekend!
