We are so excited to share this California backyard wedding with you! This was the very last wedding of our season, and we couldn’t have picked a better grand finale!

Oh, where do we even begin? From the moment we met Marisol three years ago, we knew we would be great friends. For a lot of reasons. First, Michaela and her worked together at a local preschool and she ended up being our roommate for a short while. Second, we connected with her because we admired her easy-going nature and overall outlook on life. Man, we could go on and on, because there are so many things, but suffice to say…When Julio, the man of her dreams came into the picture, we knew Marisol was completely smitten and he was the “one” for her.

Marisol and Julio, thank you so much for bringing us out to your beautiful wedding. You two are just so sweet together. Your joy radiates from inside your soul and brings a smile to everyone’s faces! It was such an honor to capture your day and we are so excited for you to see just a few of our favorite photos.

The day began at Marisol’s mom’s private residence in Santa Ana, California. She is a blogger at Coffee Cups and Fairylights and so of course had lots of details she wanted photographed…

Marisol, we can’t say it enough… you are GORGEOUS!

After she was done getting ready, we stepped outside by her home to capture a few bridal photos.

Meanwhile, Julio nervously got ready at his own private residence with Marisol’s little brother.

Then we all met up for their “First Look,” and Julio couldn’t have been happier to see his beautiful bride!

They danced, kissed and cuddled for a few minutes before we walked around the property to take bride and groom portraits.

After bride and groom portraits, we drove to Marisol’s aunt’s house for the backyard ceremony to take place.

Marisol had DIYed all of the ceremony decor and it came out perfectly…

This was definitely the BEST reaction we’ve ever had a groom have after saying “I DO” to his bride!

The rest of the night was spent enjoying their time dancing with their friends and family! Marisol and Julio, we hope you are enjoying married life and we can’t wait to hang out again very soon :)
