They say that you become like the people you spend your time with. After spending the day with Nikki and Chase’s closest family and friends, we can see why they turned out so lovely. From the moment we met them, to the moment we said goodnight, we felt completely welcomed into their intimate circle.
Nikki and Chase married at Serra Plaza in San Juan Capistrano beneath a calm blue sky. They promised each other to travel, and explore the world together. To live a life of wonder and adventure. To never become stagnant and boring. But most importantly, to stand by each other’s side, always.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for letting us witness such a beautiful occasion. To stand with you through the most important moments, and preserve your family’s legacy with photos. It was an honor and a pleasure. With love and appreciation…Josh and Michaela
The wedding day preparations begin at a hotel nearby Serra Plaza. Nikki clutched this locket closely to her heart, wishing more than anything her grandfather could be there with her…
Her dazzling white shoes waited patiently to be slipped on her feet.
Nikki chose delicate lace accessories to pair with her copper earrings…
After getting ready with her closest friends, she arrived at the Mission San Juan for the first look…
Chase’s reaction was priceless. His eyes lit up as he gasped at Nikki’s beauty…
He gently caressed her face telling her how amazing she looked…
Before finally going in for a sweet kiss…
Light grey suits and blush bridesmaids gowns paired perfectly against the historic Mission San Juan walls…
After the first look, everyone walked over to Serra Plaza where the wedding ceremony and reception would take place…
They stood before their closest family and friends to exchange their vows…
The officiant shared his wisdom of marriage with Nikki and Chase, relaying how serious a matter it really is…
Nikki’s bridesmaids held back tears as they clutched their bouquets close to their bodies.
The wedding ceremony ended with an old tradition of combining sand into one vase that they get to keep as a reminder of their unity…
Then after a brief kiss, they were Mr. and Mrs!
The coordinator did a fabulous job making sure no detail was forgotten…
While dinner was being served, Nikki and Chase shared their first dance…
The desert table was simple…but sweet!
…and we may or may not have tested a few ourselves ;P
The rest of the evening was spent being in the moment and dancing the night away…
Many thanks to the incredible creative team…
